HISTORY OF THE MONTH

Visiting the "Henhouse"
This time, we're not presenting the album of the month. We're presenting a story of Norwegian Black Metal.
I'm talking about "Henhouse," where some of the most famous songs by the band Mayhem were rehearsed and recorded. This house, owned by "Necrobutcher," the band's bassist, was the place where the famous vocalist of the band "Dead," a fundamental figure in the history of Black Metal, lived and died.
In 2019, the Peaceville label released some recordings made in 1989 in this house, which became part of the genre's history.
